December 26, 2013 missile attack

On December 26, 2013, at 2115 p.m., Iranian regime’s proxies, with full cooperation and coordination of the al-Maliki government and its security forces, carried out another missile attack on Camp Liberty which resulted in the death of 4 residents and 70 injured and extensive harms. In this attack, the perpetrators used 240 mm missiles which had a destructive force of 20 times that of 107 mm missiles used in previous attacks.
Yet, the Iraqi Camp Management continued to refuse entry of minimum security requirements such as transferring helmets and bullet-proof vests and the minimum medical equipment from Ashraf to Liberty, installing protection concert T-walls, importing basic tools such as shovels, hacks, and sand bags in order to lower the vulnerability and casualty toll.
