President Macron condemns Houthi missile attack on Saudi Arabia

Riyadh, 24 December 2017 - France's President Emmanuel Macron in a telephone call with king Salman condemned the attempt by the Houthi militias to target Riyadh with ballistic missile.

President Macron stressed the necessity of confronting the Iranian activities which destabilize the region.

He  also stressed his country’s clear stance regarding the destructive role of Iran, which supports the Houthi militias and supplies them with the ballistic missile technology to attack Saudi Arabia and destabilize the region.

President Macron thanked King Salman and his government for their efforts to combat terrorism and extremism, especially the their recent efforts in the Sahel region of Africa.
