Pandeli Majko is Former Prime Minister of Albania

Dear friends, I know you are tired, I know that it's very difficult to speak after all these special friends that spoke before. But leave me to say some words in the name of Albanian delegation shortly. First, we are so honored coming here in Paris in such a special space where East meets the West, where East meet the West under the umbrella of the Iranian spirit and we all together dream about the future.

Every year I have come here, at least the last five years and I have heard you are afraid about your people in Ashraf Camp. Now in the name of Albanian people we are so honored to tell you that they are safe, they are in our faith, in Albanian faith, they are part of our home and we all together are here for a simple reason. Words are words, acts and facts speak more than words. The Albanian acts are telling you, my friends, that all relations between Albanians and Iranians now have a very special quality. Our 2700 people that are part of the Albanian family they are Albanian citizens, they are refugees that have come from Ashraf camp but they are part of the Albanian family.

You see some days ago in Albania have been elections but in this group, in this delegation, you will not understand who won and who lose who was in power and who will be in opposition because for your cause for helping your people for helping Ashraf camp in Albania don't exist opposition.

These are the words that came from the heart of each of us but the view that you have seen in the screen, thousands of people in Tirana applauding the meetings here today speak more than everything, more than every speech, speak the truth the real truth that you never ever will be tired. You will wait till to the last because you are not the survivors, you are the example what can happen when a man when a woman when a sister when parents, where the kids believe to the relations with the truth, believe to the freedom. Thank you very much.

Pandeli Majko is Former Prime Minster of Albania.
