Al Arabiya al-Hadath TV has obtained a video clip showing members of the Shiite “Popular Mobilization Forces” beheading 17 civilians in the town of Garma located southeast of Fallujah in Anbar Province west of Baghdad. The PMF members murdered these civilians in the presence of Iraqi army officers.
Tribal sources said this shows the methods used by these Shiite militias is no different from those of Daesh (the Arabic acronym of the self-proclaimed Islamic State, or ISIS – ISIL).
Voice of man on video clip: “You see, these are 17 people who have been sent to the dustbin of history, these are 17 dogs…”
Al Arabiya TV reported the Iraqi Muslim Scholars Association has condemned Shiite militias for setting two mosques ablaze in the town of Garma, emphasizing the PMF have not come to liberate any areas from Daesh and their mission is to implement sectarian orders issued by Iran.
Al-Anbar Provincial Council Chairman Sabbah al-Karhut said the Shiite militia group “Asaeb Ahl al-Haq”, being a member of the PMF, has destroyed large portions of a mosque in Garma, set ablaze to another large mosque located in the eastern sections of this town, and completely destroyed a third mosque. This is in addition to the plundering and setting people’s hopes, he added. The Iraqi Muslim Scholars Association strongly condemned these crimes by Shiite militias and emphasized they are carried out based on orders issued from Tehran, Al Arabiya TV added.
Qassem Suleimani, commander of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards Quds Force, is known to be commanding the Shiite militia forces in Iraq.
Iran’s state Tabnak website cited the IRGC-associated Fars news agency quoting Bahrain Foreign Minister Khaled bin Ahmed al-Khalife making strong remarks against PMF units taking part in the attacks made by Iraqi forces against Fallujah.
“May God help the Iraqi people because they are between the fire of Daesh’s terrorism on one hand, and the heat of Qassem Suleimani and his damned sectarian forces,” he said.
