Five months after the arrest of Mitra Alizadeh from Kermanshah, west of Iran, still her family and friends have no news about her whereabouts. The human rights society “No to prison, No to execution” has reported that Iranian regime’s security forces arrested Mitra in Kermanshah during the mass uprising on December 28th, 2017. She was then taken to an unknown place. Her family’s endeavors to find where she is being kept have come to no point, so far they have received no response from the intelligence or judiciary officials.
About 8.000 people were arrested during Iran’s mass uprising last December and January. The fate of many of them is still unknown.
