The Habilian Center is a branch of Iran’s notorious Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS). The Nejat Association is a sister branch and both are parts of the mullahs’ demonizing campaign focused on publishing lies about Iranian opposition People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK).
Habilian began its activities in 2005 and to deny any association with the MOIS it introduces itself on its website as: “Habilian is a non-government and cultural organization founded to define the issue of terrorism in Iran.”
Seyed Javad Hashemi-nezhad, a low ranking MOIS agent, has been appointed as the Habilian Secretary General. Following the transfer of all Camp Liberty residents from Iraq to Albania, and the Albanian people and government’s humanitarian welcoming of these refugees, the MOIS launched a number of Albanian webpages publishing lies about the PMOI/MEK, linking these new sites to the Habilian website.
