Iranian Diplomat Terrorists Kidnapped, Tortured Resistance Activist in Turkey

Abolhassan Mojtehed Zadeh is a PMOI member who had been in touch with the organization since his school days and was an Iranian Resistance advocate in Turkey till 1988. With the aim of extracting information from him, the MOIS decided to abduct Mojtehed Zadeh in Turkey and then take him to Iran. The Iranian Ministry of Intelligence and Security sent a special team to Turkey for this terrorist operation. Taking advantage of the diplomatic facilities, the Iranian ambassador in Ankara at the time, Manoochehr Mottaki, personally intervened and assumed the responsibility of legally paving the way for the terrorists.
October 11, 1988, Aksarai District, Istanbul, Turkey: Driving several vehicles, more than 10 terrorists sent by the Iranian regime, arranged a false car crash and managed to kidnap Mojtehed Zadeh according to a premeditated plan. He was taken to safe house and brought under harshest torture. The diplomat terrorists decided to transfer Mojtehed Zadeh to Iran. Near the Iranian border, he managed fortunately to escape away and the Turkish police saved him.
