Iraqi forces attacked Ashraf residents at Hospital
On December 26, 2010, the Iraqi forces attacked Ashraf residents at hospital in the camp, beating them brutally. The attack left behind 11 injured residents, all among the residents who used to provide logistics and services to the hospital. The attacking agents went as far as literally throwing a rope around the neck of one of the hospital personnel. The attack started when the residents protested Iraqi forces who were trying to steal a crane and a flatbed truck that belonged to the residents and were at the compound of the hospital. The Iraqi forces eventually confiscated both the crane and the flatbed truck after attacking the residents.
